  • 1.1 Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?

    We can take online orders and deliver worldwide. We offer a free worldwide delivery.

    We do not deliver to PO Boxes or to forwarding addresses as our goods are delivered by courier and need to be signed for on delivery.

    1.2 How long will it take?

    Delivery times vary but it usually takes between 2-10 working days within Europe, longer for the rest of the world. There is an option to have a fast track delivery (next day for EU, rest of the world varies) for which there’s an extra charge, please check Express Shipping option on checkout.

    To guarantee delivery by Christmas, please place your orders latest by the 14th of December for EU expedite shipping and 20th of December for express shipping.

  • 2.1 Can I return an item?

    If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase you may send it back, unused and in its original packaging, for an exchange or a full refund. If the item has been personalized or made to order we wont be able to refund or exchange.

    Refunds will be made back onto the card used to buy the item.

    2.2 How can I return an item?

    Goods must be returned, unused and in their original condition, within 21 days from receipt of goods.

    Please ensure all items are securely wrapped in the original packaging.

    Remember to complete and enclose the Returns Form supplied with your delivery.

    If all the above has been completed correctly we will refund you in full and shipping will be at our cost.

  • 3.1 Is VAT deducted for non-EU deliveries?

    All prices on our site are in pounds sterling, although there’s a live convertor and the option to pay in your country’s currency. Prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Prices are inclusive of worldwide shipping. If your order is being dispatched outside the European Union (EU) then we will deduct VAT.

    We will automatically calculate the relevant VAT at the ‘check out’ stage of your purchase.

    Please note: if your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, the receiver of the goods may be charged their countries import duty and/or local sales taxes, which they will be asked to pay on delivery. Please check with the relevant country’s customs if you want to be sure of possible charges before ordering. It is the recipient’s responsibility to pay these charges.

    3.2 What currency am I buying in?

    ​You can buy and pay in your preferred currency.

    3.3 What cards do you accept? & do you accept cheques?

    We accept online payment in a secure environment with the following credit and debit cards:

    • Visa,
    • MasterCard,
    • American Express.

    You can also pay in your local currency.

    We are happy to accept payment by cheque from UK banks. You will need to order via email please quote the product code of product(s) you wish to purchase in your email subject.

  • 4.1 How do you use my private details?

    We will not divulge your personal details, email or home addresses or telephone number to third parties.
    The information that you provide during check out is purely to serve you with your purchase.
    We ask that you complete email and telephone details correctly.
    We only send emails to confirm a purchase, to contact you regarding an order, or because you have chosen to join our mailing list.
    We will only use your telephone number if we need to contact you regarding your order.
    Our data collection and storage is governed by the rules of the UK Data Protection Act.

    4.2 Are my details and transaction secure?

    We use SSL 128 bit security to ensure your order is processed securely.
    If you would prefer to talk to someone to place your order please send us an email at info@lnelondon.com with a number and a suitable time to reach you and we will call you to take your order.

  • 5.1 Can I personalise my products?

    Yes, certain products can be personalised at an extra charge. If you’re interested in personalising your product, all you need to do is drop us an email at info@lnelondon.com, we’ll take you through the stages of personalising your item and quote price accordingly.

    5.2 What if I’ve had something personalised and I’ve made a mistake?

    We are sorry that we are unable to give refund on items that you have chosen to have personalised unless we are at fault. We are, however, happy to give the option of trial before purchase.

    We ask you to type your personalised message or address and options carefully and double-check it before sending your order. We will confirm your message/address/option back to you by email before proceeding with the engraving and making, so please make sure your contact details are correct at check out.

    If you make a mistake, or you want to update your item (a change of address, for example) we are happy to make those changes on your behalf, at a reasonable price. Please email us for advice at info@lnelondon.com.

    5.3 How accurate are the colours on screen?

    We have tried our utmost to get as true a representation as possible of the colour and texture of our fabrics.

    Depending on the make, settings and resolution of your computer, and the individual character of the fabric itself, there may be some variation between what you see on screen and what you get.

    On more expensive items we are happy to send you a swatch of our actual fabrics on request.

    5.4 What sort of Fabrics are you using?

    We are using exclusively non-animal origin fabrics. We follow wherever the innovation takes us. Please look at our L&E TLC part of this FAQ to see what fabrics we’re using and how to take care of them.

    5.5 How can I clean and look after my product? Do you do repairs if I need one doing?

    Yes and yes, please look at our L&E TLC part of this FAQ for more information on taking care of your product.

    If any repair is needed we will track down the same craftsman that made your bag and have him repair it for you.  Please note, you will be charged for this service, we will quote price once we receive and asses damage. You may ask for a quote before sending us your bag for repair, we will be more than happy to give you an estimate.

    5.6 What’s your policy on packaging?

    We aim for the best protection and presentation to suit the value of the product and bearing in mind it is often sent as a gift. At the same time, we make a conscious effort to use locally sourced, eco-friendly and as little as possible packaging wherever possible.

    Most of our shipping materials can be re-used or are made form recycled materials.

    If you buy as a gift and wish to have it wrapped please make sure you check gift option on checkout.

    5.7 Where can I buy your products?

    L&E is available to view and buy exclusively on this website. By dealing directly with our customers we believe that we deliver a friendly, responsive and supportive service.

  • 6.1 How to take care of your leatherette.

    These are the easiest fabrics to take care of, even when creased they tend to bounce right back with you fill them in with paper or clothes to regain their shape.

    • CLEAN LEATHERETTE WITH A DUMP CLOTH & MILD SOAP
    • RUB THROUGH & THEN POLISH WITH A DRY CLOTH
    • NEVER IMMERSE FABRIC IN WATER!
    • CLOTH MUST BE DUMP NOT WET
    • TREAT LEATHERETTE WITH A LEATHER CONDITIONER OR MILD MOISTURISER, MAKING SURE ITS DRY FIRST
    • BEFORE APPLYING MOISTURISER TEST A CORNER AS CONDITIONER MIGHT CHANGE THE LOOK OF THE FABRIC
    • STORE YOUR HANDBAG IN THE BAG PROVIDED AVOID USING PLASTIC BAGS

    6.2 How to take care of your fabric based bags:

    We’re talking about your Felted wools and Suedettes, these are usually quite light and flexible, but make sure you take care of them correctly. NEVER RUB these kinds of fabrics as you’ll damage their pile and that is irreversible.

    • BEFORE USING YOUR FABRIC BAG MAKE SURE YOU SPRAY IT WITH ONE OF THE MANY PRODUCTS THAT PROTECT AGAINST WATER & OTHER STAINS
    • AFTER EVERY CLEAN SPRAY &PROTCT YOUR BAG
    • MAKE SURE BAG IS THOROUGHLY DRY BEFORE SPRAYING
    • STORE YOUR HANDBAG IN THE BAG PROVIDED AVOID USING PLASTIC BAGS
    • KEEP YOUR HANDBAG AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT TO AVOID DISCOLOURING

    • RUB IT AND LEAVE IT FOR A FEW HOURS

    • REPEAT AS MANY TIMES AS NECESSARY

    SOME STAINS MIGHT REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL CARE. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DRY CLEANER IS EXPERIENCED WITH TAKING CARE OF SUCH FABRICS.

    6.3 How to take care of your innovative Cellulose based fabrics.

    This highly innovative fabric is paper based with a leather look, simply amazing! Don’t worry though these bags are water resistant (they’ve been tested) and fairly easy to take care of.
    Please note, this fabric gains character with every crease it takes and it softens with time, it’s the nature of the fabric.

    • CLEAN WITH A DUMP CLOTH & MILD SOAP
    • RUB GENTLY & THEN LEAVE TO DRY
    • NEVER IMMERSE FABRIC IN WATER!
    • CLOTH MUST BE DUMP NOT WET

    Used mostly along other fabrics, faux-fur is fairly easy to take care of and most of us already know, but a little reminder never hurts.

    • MAKE SURE YOU SPRAY AGAINST WATER & OTHER STAINS
    • GENTLY BRUSH OFF ANY EXCESS OF DRY MUD OR FOOD
    • USING A SUEDE BRUSH WITH GENTLE & DELICATE STROKES
    • USE DUMP CLOTH AND MILD SOAP AND RUB IT ON STAIN
    • LEAVE TO DRY THOROUGHLY
    • MAKE SURE YOU SPRAY AGAINST WATER & OTHER STAINS, AFTER IT DRIED AND BEFORE USE.

    Should an item be temporarily out of stock, we will notify you with an expected delivery date and to ask you if you would like to proceed with the order under these delivery dates unless it’s a limited edition, in which case we will send you similar options.

    L&E will not request payment until goods are available for delivery.

    7.6 Acceptance of your order

    Orders are accepted at L&E’s discretion. An order acknowledgment is not acceptance of your order.

    We normally accept an order if:

    • The product is available
    • The product passes its quality check
    • All requested details have been correctly filled at checkout
    • You are based in a country to which L&E is able to sell
    • Your card is authorized for the transaction
